I don't know much some about politic, but I can see that the elections of the USA-2008, are very interesting, because the fight between Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama ( candidates democrate ) is equality. If Obama wins, he will the first time that a candidate black will be the president of USA.
So, there are fight with candidates ( among them ) and with republicans.The democrates have ideology more modern than republicans. I don't agree with republicans because they think that if you have the card of identity, althought you are minor of age, you can buy some weapons, and this is very bad for the sociaty.
